Past Years: 2006

King of the Mountain: Timothy Sweeney
For the 6th year of 6 possible years, Timothy Sweeney was at 1st place on the Eagle Rating. In 2006 he finished one game, a game called “Brothers in Arms”, and he lost for the first time. He lost around 9 EPs, but he still had more than 60 EPs and he had almost 30 EPs more than 2nd place. So he still had total control by the end of 2006. Timothy Sweeney had 4 solos and 5 draws in his last 10 games. Totally, he had 7 solos and 6 draws in 14 games. Timothy had 6 Player of the Month-awards at the end of 2006… That man is untouchable.

At 2nd place we find Duncan Proffitt with 33.71 EPs. He had 3 solos and 4 draws in his last 10 games. Totally, he had 4 solos and 5 draws in 14 games at the site. Duncan climbed from 8th to 2nd place in 2006. Brian Koon climbed from 6th to 3rd place. He had 1 solo and 6 draws in his last 10 games. Anders Granås Kjøstvedt climbed from 9th to 4th place. Chris Andrews jumped from 27th to 8th place in 2006. Eduard van Dijk climbed from 10th to 9th place, and Lee Simpson climbed from 13th to 10th place. Jeff Grzybowski fell from 2nd to 23rd place in 2006, while Patrick D`Hyon fell from 5th to 31st place.

Runner of the Year: Jonathan Langman
The award is given to the player that gets most points in a year. Earlier, Tim Sweeney had got three Runner of the Year-awards and Patrick D`Hyon and Duncan Proffitt one award. In 2006 Jonathan Langman got 18.44 EPs so he got the award for his good results. He had 1 solo and 4 draws in his last 10 games. Jonathan have played 38 games at the site – 8 of them in 2006. At 2nd place we find Richard Hucknall, who got 15.04 EPs in 2006. Randy Goldring got 3rd place with 13.75 EPs.

Hall of Fame
Note that the Hall of Fame-league has benn changed somewhat (for the better).

Timothy Sweeney still had the lead with more than 200 points. It is almost impossible to overtake him as long as he is at first place in the Eagle Rating each year. Guy Fraser-Sampson, Kester Bearne and Patrick D`Hyon were still at 2nd to 4th place in 2006 (but Kester and Patrick changed places). Karl Georg Øhrn climbed to 5th place. Runner of the Year, Jonathan Langman, climbed from 67th to 38th place in 2006.
