King of the Mountain 2001: Timothy Sweeney
Timothy (Tim / Timbo) was top of the ranking at the end of 2001 with 4 finished games. He won 3 of them, and the 4th was a 3-way draw, and 22.49 Eagle Points is impressive. He is of course the favourite to win next year too. At 2nd place we find Steve Turner, around 2.5 points behind Timothy. Steve has 2 solo-victories, 3 draws and 1 survival. Richard Hucknall is at 3rd place, and he has finished 10 games. Hucknall has won 2 of them, and drawn in 6 of them. Only 1 elimination. At 4th, 5th and 6th we find Walter de Oude, Paul Simpkins and Sandor Marton.
Runner of the Year: Timothy Sweeney
Timothy Sweeney was top of the ranking at the end of 2001, and he received all his points in 2001, so naturally, he was also the Runner of the Year (Award to the player who got most points in a year). Walter de Oude got second place with 17.33 EPs and Sandor Marton got 3rd place with 15.66 EPs.
Most Valuable Victory: Cies de Theije

Some statistics for the first 3 years (1999-2001)
110 games finished from the beginning in 1999 to the end of 2001. The site has grown fast, and 110 game-finishes (only standard games) the first 3 years is impressive.
Country-ranking
Below is the ranking for the 7 nations. 100 points is average, that is, a country with 100 points has 1/7-part of all Eagle Points given. 140 means 40 pct. more than average, and 75 means 25 pct. below average.
1) 154.72 Russia
2) 97.80 Germany
3) 97.70 Italy
4) 96.25 France
5) 93.19 England
6) 85.14 Turkey
7) 75.19 Austria
Russia were extremely dominant the first 3 years of Dip 2000. Russia had almost 55 pct. more points than the average country. Russia have been so dominant that all the other 6 countries were below average (average is 100). Germany was at 2nd place, and Italy was somewhat surprisingly on 3rd place. Turkey and Austria were on the 6th and 7th spot, but that`s likely when Russia were dominant, since Austria and Turkey are Russia`s closest neighbours.
Anarchies
There have been 1.86 dropouts pr. game. The amount of anarchies were too high, but at least the average number of anarchies started to fall somewhat rapidly towards the end of 2001.
Solos and draws
61 games ended with a solo (55.5 pct.), and 49 ended with a draw (44.5 pct.). The draws were distributed like this:
2-way: 18 pct.
3-way: 51 pct.
4-way: 27 pct.
5-way: 02 pct.
6-way: 02 pct.
7-way: No games
Solo-victory were the most common result the first 3 years of Dip2000. 3-way-draw were fairly common as well. There were only 1 5-way-draw and 1 6-way-draw in 1999-2001.
Solo-table
The distribution of solos were this:
1) 16 Russia
2) 10 Germany
3) 09 Italy
3) 09 England
5) 06 Austria
5) 06 France
7) 05 Turkey
Russia had more than 3 times as many solos as Turkey.
Eliminations
Here is the elimination-table (not counting elimination after anarchy). The formula is, for each country:
Elimination/(eliminations+survivals+draws+solos):
1) 19 pct. France
2) 22 pct. Italy
3) 22 pct. Turkey
4) 26 pct. Russia
5) 30 pct. Germany
6) 35 pct. England
7) 41 pct. Austria
If your goal is to survive, France was the best option, while Austria was the worst. It is somewhat surprising that England has been eliminated so often.
Players` results overall
26.6 pct. Anarchy
20.5 pct. Elimination
24.8 pct. Survival
20.1 pct. Part of a draw
07.9 pct. Solo
Anarchies were most common the first 3 years, but that is likely to change next year since anarchies are dropping.
